Garland Pumpkin 3 Meters

The pumpkin garland is a 3-metre paper hanging banner made up of orange pumpkin shapes joined together with a cut-out smiley face. When unfolded, you get a row of grinning faces that instantly create a Halloween atmosphere. Hang it up at a Halloween party at home, a spooky-themed party or a ghost night in the hall.

What is the pumpkin garland made of?

• The garland consists of 96% PAP (paper), 3% glue and 1% cotton.
• The length is 3 metres, so you can span a table or a doorway with it in one go.
• All the pumpkins are orange and have the same cheerful face with a triangular nose and teeth.
• The eyes, nose and mouth are actually cut out, allowing light to shine through and illuminate the faces.
• The shapes are linked with small paper connectors, so you can unfold the banner like an accordion and store it flat again after the party.

The smiling pumpkin as an image of Halloween

The hollowed-out pumpkin with a face in it is the best-known image of Halloween and dates back to the tradition of carving a lantern and placing it by the door. This garland uses that same face, but in a friendly, smiling version instead of a menacing grin. This makes the banner just as suitable for a children's party as for a setting with witches, skeletons and cobwebs. Choose this paper version if you want a lighthearted, colourful atmosphere and don't want to go straight for the horror side.

How to display the pumpkin garland at your party

Span the banner at eye level across the candy table or along a door frame, so guests can see the faces immediately upon entering. Unfold the pumpkins properly and hang it with a slight curve, as this makes the row of faces stand out better than when it is pulled taut. Place some candlelight or a lamp behind it so that the cut-out eyes and mouths light up. Paper and flames do not go together, so keep real candles at a distance and preferably choose an LED light indoors.
