Lantern With Light 30cm Orange

The lantern with light is a spherical hanging decoration made of orange crinkle paper with a diameter of 30 cm and two white LED lights in the base ring. The paper lets the light shine through softly, making the sphere clearly visible even after sunset. You hang it up during King's Day, at a Dutch evening, or during Sint Maarten.

• The composition is 95% PAP, 3% PVC and 2% iron.

Why does a lantern belong in a lantern parade?

A lantern is the oldest form of festive lighting: a light source behind thin paper, so that the color of the paper colors the entire environment. At a lantern parade in the dark months, children therefore walk with a sphere on a stick, and on King's Day that same sphere hangs in the street or in the garden. With LEDs instead of a candle, the paper stays cool and you can also hang the sphere inside. The warm tint of this model matches a Dutch evening, where red, white and blue make up the rest of the decoration.

A garland of lanterns above the garden table

Hang several spheres at different heights on one wire, then you get a line of light points instead of one loose lamp. Above a set table, the sphere looks best at eye level or just above it, so that the light falls downwards.
