Jumbo black spider

The jumbo black spider is a large decorative spider with a hairy black body, eight long legs and small red eyes. What immediately stands out is its size combined with the fluffy, dark fur that makes the creature look real from a distance. Set it up as a spooky decoration for Halloween, a horror party or a haunted house in the hallway.

Features of the jumbo black spider

• The body and legs are covered in fluffy black fur, giving the spider a hairy appearance.
• The spider has eight long, curved legs that are spread far apart.
• The head features two small red eyes that stand out against the black.
• The model is completely black, making it suitable for almost any Halloween display.
• You receive one decorative spider, without a web or other accessories.

Why does a large spider work so well as a spooky decoration?

Spiders are part of the classic imagery of Halloween, along with bats, rats and cobwebs. This is because an abandoned, dusty place in films and stories is always covered in cobwebs, so a spider immediately evokes a sense of decay. A small plastic spider hardly gets noticed, while a model of this size will catch your guests' attention at first glance. For an extra effect, place it at eye level, for example above a door frame or against a light-coloured wall where the black stands out sharply. Place it just outside the full light, and you will mainly see its silhouette and the outline of its legs.

Incorporating the jumbo black spider into your decorations

Combine the spider with white cobwebs over a lamp, a candlestick or the edge of a bookcase, so it looks as though it inhabits its own web. On a set table, it looks great among black candles and a bowl of sweets, or in a shop window against a window with fake cracks. If you want to create a haunted house, spread several smaller spiders along the route and keep this large one as the final piece for the last corner. It will also stand out in the garden or at the front door on October 31st for trick-or-treaters.
