    Description & features

The gold disco helmet is an open helmet whose entire shell is covered with small gold-colored mirrored tiles, finished with a black border. It evokes the 1970s dance floor, when a spinning disco ball under the lights was the centerpiece of every club. With this helmet, you wear that ball yourself, as a lady or gentleman at a disco party, a 1970s party, or a kitschy party.

What is the helmet with mirrored tiles made of?

The gold disco helmet consists of 40% glass, 40% polyurethane, 15% polyester, and 5% polypropylene.

    • The shell is covered from top to bottom with small square mirrored tiles in a gold shade.
    • A black border runs around the opening, finishing the tiles at the bottom.
    • The model is an open helmet: your face remains free, while the sides extend over your ears.
    • The inside of the ear pieces has a black lining with a mesh structure.
    • The helmet is intended for women and men.

Where a party hat only rests on your crown, this mirrored helmet encloses your head over the ears, so that the mirrored shell can be seen from the front, side, and back. Choose it if you want your head itself to catch the light from the spotlights.

The helmet as a wearable disco ball

A disco ball consists of hundreds of small mirrors that throw the light from a spotlight in dots through the hall. In the discotheques of the 1970s, such a ball hung above almost every dance floor, and it grew into the quintessential image of that music. This helmet translates that image into something you wear: as soon as light falls on it, your head sparkles along with the hall. The gold shade makes the look warmer than the classic silver ball.

Glitter makeup, glasses, and jewelry with the helmet

Because the helmet covers most of your hair, the attention shifts to your face. A layer of glitter on the cheekbones or metallic eyeshadow matches the mirrored tiles. Large sunglasses with tinted lenses suit the open model, and a chain necklace in a gold shade continues the line from head to neck. Keep your clothing simple, for example in black, so that the helmet remains the piece everyone looks at.

Order the gold disco helmet and let every beam of light reflect off your head at your next 1970s party.
