Bloody butcher's cleaver 30cm

The bloody butcher cleaver is a 30 cm long plastic prop knife, with a wide silver-grey blade and a red blood edge along the cutting edge. The black handle with three silver rivets is striking, making it look like a real butcher's knife from the kitchen. In the photos, both adults and children hold the knife, so it suits a butcher, zombie or horror nurse look for Halloween or a scary party.

What the bloody butcher cleaver looks like

• The blade is 30 cm long and sprayed silver-grey, with an irregular red edge that mimics blood splatters.
• The handle is black and has three silver rivets, just like a kitchen knife.
• There is a round hanging hole at the top of the blade.
• The knife is made of 100% PVC.
• The cleaver is sold separately, so without gloves or a costume.

What makes a cleaver different from a regular prop knife for Halloween?

A cleaver has a wide, rectangular blade that you immediately recognize from a distance, while a regular stabbing knife has a narrow point and quickly blends in on a photo. So choose this wide model if you want your weapon to stand out on group photos and in a dark room. The butcher theme matches the horror figures that are popular on Halloween: the butcher, the zombie chef and the crazy nurse. The red edge is only along the top of the blade, so the rest of the blade retains its metallic shine.

Wearing the bloody butcher cleaver with your outfit

Wear the knife with a white shirt or a butcher's apron and complete it with bloody gloves, so your hand and weapon match. It works just as well with a zombie or skeleton costume, because the silver-grey blade stands out against dark clothing. Some face paint with fake blood on your face and hands completes the look. Hold the knife slightly up when taking photos, so the red edge on the blade stands out best.
