Beer mat 70 years

The 70-year beer mat is a set of six magnetic coasters with a diameter of 12 cm, printed to look like a red-and-white traffic sign with a bold black number 70. Place them under glasses and bottles on the table at a 70th birthday party or anniversary celebration, so it is immediately clear what is being celebrated. This way, some of the guests get a festive coaster and the age becomes the joke of the room.

How big are these beer mats and what is in the set?

• You get six beer mats in one set, handy for a small table or the bar.
• Each mat is round and has a diameter of 12 cm.
• The coasters are magnetic.
• The print consists of a wide red border around a white inner circle.
• In the middle is the number 70 in thick black digits, just like on a speed sign along the road.

A beer mat with a nod to the maximum speed

The round sign with a red border is the sign for a maximum speed in traffic. At birthdays, that image is often used to announce the new age, as if the birthday person is allowed to be seventy from now on. A glass coaster with that sign brings that joke to the table, exactly where everyone sees it as soon as a glass is put down. For an anniversary, it works the same way, for example if a club or company has existed for seventy years.

This is how you place the mats at the birthday party

At a birthday party in the hall or at home, place a beer mat at the places around the table, then the set immediately forms a red-and-white line across the tablecloth. At a standing reception, they come into their own better on the bar or the high tables, where most glasses are put down. If you want to carry the colors through, choose napkins or balloons in red and white, so that the mats do not stand alone in the decoration. After the party, the birthday person can easily take them with them as a souvenir of the party.

Order the 70-year beer mats and put the birthday person's age on every table where a toast is made.
