A pumpkin glass is a drinking glass in the shape of a jack-o'-lantern, with a grinning pumpkin face in the bowl and a translucent orange color. People choose this when they are decorating for a Halloween party at home and want the drinks to match the theme. On a set table, at the bar, or on a buffet, such a glass immediately stands out among the rest of the spooky decorations, and it matches the broader Halloween decorations you have placed around the house.
Which version of the pumpkin glass is available here?
- The orange pumpkin wine glass has a classic wine glass shape with a bowl, a stem, and a round base.
- The orange color is translucent and runs through the entire bowl, stem, and base, so the glass stands out even when empty.
- The bowl features a pumpkin face in relief: triangular eyes, a triangular nose, and a grinning zigzag mouth.
- The material is PVC, a plastic, so it is not real glassware.
- This model is 18 cm tall and is intended for adults to pour wine or another drink into.
The jack-o'-lantern face on your table
The carved pumpkin face is the most famous image of Halloween: triangular eyes and a zigzagging grin, originally from a hollowed-out pumpkin with a candle inside. That face appears on drinking utensils in two ways, and that is exactly what to pay attention to when choosing. With a print, the image is flat on the surface; with relief, as here, it is pressed into the shape and you can feel the lines with your fingers. Also pay attention to the height: 18 cm is quite large for a wine glass, so expect a generous bowl above a set table. It is useful to know that a PVC glass is not real glassware, which can be convenient at a busy party with many people around the table. Each glass is delivered individually, so count how many guests you expect before ordering.
Combining the pumpkin glass with other spooky decorations
Place the glasses on a table with a pumpkin theme and hang something above it, for example, a pumpkin garland along the edge of the buffet. If you want to make the corner bigger, place another inflatable pumpkin in the room or garden, so that the orange color returns at different heights. Further Halloween decorations in black and orange complete the look.
