A pacifier in this category is a greatly enlarged plastic dummy, with a wide ring around your finger or attached to a ribbon. They are part of the Baby costume range, and in this section the dummies themselves are featured instead of complete outfits. With such a large dummy you complete the look of an adult baby, and it works just as well as a joke at a bachelor party or as a funny accessory for women and men at a costume party.
Pink, blue or yellow: which version will you choose?
- In pink you will find a baby dummy with a striking pink design, ideal if the rest of your outfit is also pink.
- In baby blue the same joke is presented in a soft blue shade, often chosen by men who are going as a big baby.
- Yellow comes in an extra large model, so you can be seen from a distance.
- There is also an inflatable dummy measuring 45 cm, which you can deflate after the party and reuse.
- Furthermore, the range includes complete costume sets that come with a jumbo dummy, a diaper, a hat, a bib and a safety pin.
Why does a large dummy work as a joke?
The joke is in the size: a dummy that does not fit in a mouth is immediately recognized as a costume item and not as a baby product. That is why these dummies are deliberately aimed at party use and are not intended as dummy toys for a real baby. If you are choosing between a hard plastic dummy and the inflatable 45 cm version, consider what you will do with it: the sturdy version hangs from your finger or around your neck all evening, while the inflatable one stands out mainly as a decoration in the venue and can be stored flat afterwards. If you are unsure between a single dummy and a costume set, ask yourself whether you already have the rest of the outfit. A single item complements an existing costume, while a set provides a diaper, hat and dummy all at once.
What do you wear with your jumbo dummy?
A large dummy looks best when combined with the other elements of the baby look. A baby bib completes the look around your neck, where a single dummy on its own does not make much of an impression. If you want everything all at once, choose a baby costume set that includes a diaper, hat and dummy. For those who also want to change their face, a baby mask is the next step.
A dummy for carnival, a costume party or a bachelor party
The large dummy is a classic for groups: with a diaper and a bib to go with it, you can be the baby of the conga line in a few minutes. Women and men wear the same models, as there is no size. The jumbo dummy also appears in the baby sets, so you can keep the same joke going with a whole group.
