A candy costume is a fancy dress outfit with the shape or print of confectionery, from a striped candy girl dress to a wrapped Christmas candy with a hood. You can choose from a dress with shorts for women or girls, a candy-print suit with a jacket and trousers for men, a Christmas candy for women and men, separate cupcake headbands and a plastic lollipop. Because the headbands and the lollipop are sold separately, you can also give an existing food costume a sweet twist.
Which candy costume is right for Carnival, Christmas or a birthday?
- For Carnival, it's all about candy in fabric: women wear a dress with shorts and a zip at the back, and men wear a suit with the same candy print from top to hem.
- The men's suit features a blazer-style jacket with lapels and flap pockets, so the whole outfit looks like a real suit.
- At Christmas, you wear the outfit that looks like one of the candies from the Christmas tree: red with green, pointed cut-out edges like a twisted wrapper, gold stars and a hood with a round face opening.
- For a birthday, there are headbands with two cupcakes on silver-coloured spirals, in blue, pink and white, and gold and white, some of which feature Happy Birthday in pink glitter letters.
- The plastic lollipop with stripes in red, orange, green and blue suits any party and can be used by children and adults.
Choose a separate cupcake headband or a complete candy set
You buy the headbands and the lollipop separately, while the dresses with shorts and the men's suit with jacket and trousers come as complete sets. If you already have a pink dress or a cheerful outfit, you can create a sweet look with a cupcake headband and the lollipop without buying a whole costume. Please note: the lollipop is made of plastic and is not edible. The men's suit is available in sizes M to XXL, and you choose the girls' dress based on body height in 116, 140 or 164 cm, with 140 fitting approximately ten-year-olds.
A candy costume alongside a hot dog, hamburger or banana
If you are going with a group, you can easily dress someone in a hot dog costume or a hamburger costume alongside a candy outfit, so that together you form a whole snack stand. A banana costume adds a healthy balance for those who prefer not to wear anything sweet.
