    Description & features

The Rasta Herman wig is a black costume wig with thin, twisted dreadlocks that hang down to the shoulders all around. It is intended for women and men who want to create a rasta look during carnival or at a reggae party without having to twist their own hair. Putting it on and taking it off takes just a few seconds.

Color, length and style of the dreadlocks

    • The locks are deep black and have a twisted, slightly wavy structure.
    • All around, they fall to about shoulder length, including along the sides of the face.
    • On top of the head, the locks lie close together, giving the hairstyle a full appearance.
    • The wig is suitable for both women and men.
    • You will receive only the wig, without clothing or jewelry.

Where the rasta hairstyle comes from

Dreadlocks are the most famous feature of the rastafarian movement from Jamaica. Through reggae music, the hairstyle became recognizable worldwide, often in combination with the colors red, yellow, and green. Someone dressing up as a reggae singer or a Jamaican is therefore mainly recognized by their hair.

What should you wear with these dreadlocks during a carnival parade?

A loose-fitting shirt or blouse in red, yellow, and green makes the reggae look instantly recognizable, even to those watching from the sidelines. If you are wearing the wig for an entire afternoon in the parade, tuck your own hair away properly so that no strands stick out from under the locks. For an indoor reggae party, a simple black shirt with a large necklace works well, as all attention will be on the hair. Round-lensed sunglasses complete the look.

Choose the Rasta Herman wig and you will walk the streets during carnival with a recognizable reggae hairstyle.
