      Description & features

The Arabian Nights tiara is a gold-coloured headband with an openwork border and decorative pendants that fall low across the forehead. It is designed for women who want to create an oriental princess look from the tales of One Thousand and One Nights, at an oriental party or a fairy-tale party. Depending on the version, gold-coloured coins, openwork stars, a crescent moon with a red bead, or a red teardrop hang from two small chains attached to the band.

      The gold-coloured headband in detail

      • The narrow band has an openwork border on top that stands up like a small crown.
      • The pendants are attached to the bottom of the band and fall down to the forehead.
      • The coins feature an embossed portrait, like old coins.
      • The band is gold-coloured, and on some versions, a red bead or teardrop adds a red accent.
      • The composition is 95% steel and 5% PMMA.
      • You will receive the tiara itself, without any additional costume pieces.

How does this oriental headpiece differ from a princess crown?

An Arabian Nights tiara is worn around the head, with the pendants on the forehead, while a classic princess crown stands upright on top of the hair. It is precisely those pendants that make the difference: coins and crescent moons are characteristic of the oriental jewellery from the tales of One Thousand and One Nights, a collection of stories from the Middle East full of sultans, princesses, and bazaars. If you want to create a Western fairy-tale princess look, an upright crown is more suitable. If you are dressing up as an oriental princess or a belly dancer, choose this forehead ornament.

How to complete the oriental princess look

An oriental princess is recognisable by deep colours and lots of gold, so combine the headband with a satin or velvet dress in red, pink, or purple. A light veil over the shoulders and a wide gold-coloured necklace complete the look. Make your eyes look dark with a long line of eyeliner, so that the pendants on your forehead and your eyes draw attention together. Wear your hair loose and wavy so that the band remains clearly visible.

Order the Arabian Nights tiara and complete your oriental outfit for your next fairy-tale party.
