The skeleton pirate with chains is a 92-centimetre hanging decoration featuring a skull, black-and-white striped rags and two skeleton hands on black chains. Hang it in a doorway, above a buffet table or from a tree branch, where the fabric strips move with every draft. This instantly creates a pirate corner for a Halloween party or a pirate-themed party.

Pirates and skeletons in spooky decorations
Pirates and skeletons have been paired in the world of costumes and decorations ever since the skull and crossbones became the most famous pirate symbol. A ghost pirate combines that skull with worn ship clothing and shackles, the image of a crew that never left its ship. The red headscarf is the detail that immediately identifies the pirate, while the chains add the captive-at-sea motif. With this decoration, the spookiness does not come from movement or sound, but from the silhouette: a long, dangling body without legs.
Where to hang the skeleton pirate for the best effect?
Hang it at eye level or slightly higher, so the frayed points can hang freely and the skeleton hands remain to the side. In a place with a slight draft, for example near a door or window, the fabric moves gently, which creates a spookier effect than a fixed display. Combine it with a pirate flag, a treasure chest, nets and rope for a ship deck, or with cobwebs and candlelight for a striking Halloween corner. Multiple pieces at different heights turn a hallway or garden path into a complete ghost ship.
