The T-rex cake decoration set is a paper cake topper consisting of three dinosaur picks on wooden sticks and a mini bunting line with palm leaves between two straws.
For a dinosaur-themed birthday party, it will make the cake the centerpiece of the party table in just a few minutes. The bunting line stands like a gate at the back of the cake, and you can stick the dinosaurs in front of it in the whipped cream or icing.
Contents and design of the dinosaur set
- You get three cocktail picks with a dinosaur: a T-rex with its mouth wide open and two smaller, brown-striped predatory dinosaurs.
- The mini bunting line features four green palm leaves in a heart shape, sewn onto a white cord.
- The two paper straws are green and white striped and have a wooden stick inside, so you can place them upright in the cake.
- Each dinosaur is cut out along its contour, with a narrow white border around it.
- The set is made of 100% paper, and the sticks inside the straws are made of wood.
Why does a T-rex fit so well on a dinosaur cake?
The Tyrannosaurus rex is the best-known predatory dinosaur, recognizable by its enormous head, rows of sharp teeth, and strikingly short front legs. That head with its open mouth is clearly visible on the pick, even from the other side of the table. The palm leaves on the bunting line give the cake a jungle atmosphere, which matches the image most people have of a prehistoric landscape. So three picks and a bunting line together tell the whole story.
How to place the dinosaur picks on the birthday cake
First, place the two straws with the bunting line at the back of the cake, so you have a background for the dinosaurs. Stick the T-rex in the middle and the two smaller dinosaurs to the left and right, angled towards each other, so it looks as if they are chasing each other. On a white or light-colored cake, the green and brown stand out the most. Remove the picks and straws before cutting the cake, so you can serve the slices without sticks.
Order the T-rex cake decoration set and your birthday cake will have a complete dinosaur scene with a jungle atmosphere.
