PE giant flag line Bavaria

For an Oktoberfest, beer party or Bavarian-themed party, you can decorate the hall in one go with this garland. The Bavaria PE giant flag banner is an 8-metre banner line with 14 large triangular flags in the blue-and-white diamond pattern of Bavaria. It is made of 100% polyethylene and is double-sided, so it is visible from all angles.

Dimensions and material of the Bavaria giant flag banner

• The banner line is 8 metres long and has 14 flags, enough to span a hall, tent or facade in width.
• Each flag measures 45 x 30 cm, making it considerably larger than a standard pennant.
• The flags are double-sided, so the diamond pattern is also correct on the back.
• The material is 100% polyethylene, a plastic that does not tear like paper and can be folded up after the party for next year.
• The pattern consists of bright blue diamonds on white, on a white carrying tape.

Where does that blue-and-white diamond pattern actually come from?

The diamond pattern is the coat of arms motif of Bavaria and therefore hangs above almost every beer tent in Munich during Oktoberfest. You can see it on flags, tablecloths, beer mugs and on the cords of Tyrolean hats. Because the motif is so recognisable, everyone immediately knows what theme you are celebrating as soon as the garland is hung. Outside of Oktoberfest, the pattern is also widely used at après-ski parties and German-themed parties.

Hanging and combining the Bavaria giant flag banner

Hang the banner line with thumbtacks, tape or cable ties along a ceiling edge, between two trees or over the bar, so that the flags can hang freely. Are you torn between this giant flag banner and the flag garland from the Bavarian decoration set? Choose this one if you want one long, eye-catching row of large flags, and the set if you need several types of decorations at once. Combine the garland with a blue-and-white tablecloth, paper lanterns and beer-print plates for a complete Bavarian hall.
