Mask Blinding devil with hood

The blinding devil mask with hood is a hard plastic face mask in high-gloss red with two curved horns, attached to a black fabric hood that covers the head and neck. Add it to a devil costume for Halloween or a horror party, and it fits both women and men. The red face has deep wrinkles on the forehead, high cheekbones and an open mouth, with dark mesh behind the eyes and mouth so your face is not visible.

Details of the blinding devil mask with hood

• The face is finished in mirrored metallic red, which reflects the light of a party lamp.
• The two horns curve backwards and protrude through the top edge of the hood.
• The black hood covers the head all around and extends down to the neck at the back, as seen in the back photo.
• There is dark mesh behind the eyes and the mouth opening, so you can look out without the openings being noticeable.
• The material consists of 80% polypropylene, 15% polyester and 5% aluminum.

Why do so many people choose a devil for Halloween?

The devil is one of the oldest costume characters and remains popular because you immediately recognize it by two things: horns and the color red. In the world of costumes, there are roughly two directions. One is playful and cabaret-like, with small horns and a pitchfork. The other is grim, with a closed face and a dark hood, and this mask belongs to that second group. Because the face is completely concealed and the hood hides the contours of your head, nothing recognizable of yourself remains. So choose this model if you want a menacing appearance instead of a funny one.

How to complete the devil look with this mask

Wear it over a black outfit, for example a long black cloak or a black shirt with a cape, so that the hood blends seamlessly into your clothes. Red or black gloves and a pitchfork enhance the look, and a red tail makes the devil theme visible from behind. If you wear the mask at a dimly lit party, aim a lamp low at your face: the shiny surface catches that light and accentuates the wrinkles and the mouth.
