The face paint markers are made of makeup based on, among other things, castor oil, beeswax, and candelilla wax, and according to the packaging, they are easy to apply and remove.

Drawing lines and filling areas with a face paint marker

You apply a face paint marker directly to the skin, without a brush, sponge, or water, much like drawing with wax crayons on paper. With the tip, you draw eyebrows, contours, and small details, and with the slanted side, you fill in a cheek or forehead. If you are working with multiple colors, start with light shades such as white and yellow, and only then draw the lines in black or brown, so that the dark lines remain sharp. This way, you can paint a vampire, a skeleton, a blue monster, or a clown with the same set.

Taking face paint markers to the parade or Halloween party

During carnival, you paint yourself at home before the parade starts, and you take the set with you in your bag to touch up on the go. For Halloween, white and black are enough for a skeleton face, with a gray shadow by layering the two colors over each other. On a Dutch evening, you paint a little flag on the cheek with red, white, and blue, and finish the look with orange.
