    Description & features

The HWC Butterfly Lines face paint palette is a PXP Professional Colours palette containing ten 10-gram split cakes, each featuring several colors arranged in stripes side by side.

During Carnival or at a themed party, you can use it to paint wings, streaks, and lines of color on your cheeks, temples, and forehead. The ten cakes are arranged vertically in a black container with a clear hinged lid, so you can see at a glance which color stripe to use.

Ten rainbow cakes in one container

    • You get ten 10-gram split cakes, totaling 100 grams of paint.
    • Each cake has its own color stripes, with warm combinations of pink and purple, as well as yellow, orange, and red.
    • It also includes cooler cakes, such as green and white, yellow and turquoise, dark blue, and light blue and deep blue.
    • The palette is from the PXP Professional Colours brand.
    • For the best results, use a round black face paint sponge and a butterfly sponge.

How to use a split cake for butterfly lines

A split cake is a block in which several colors are poured into stripes side by side, allowing you to apply a color gradient to the skin in a single stroke. To create butterfly lines, use a butterfly sponge to stamp an entire wing in one movement. First, use the round sponge to dab a larger area around the eyes as a background. Always keep the color stripes in the same direction on your sponge; otherwise, the shades will blend together and you will lose the sharp lines.

Which costume completes the butterfly lines on your face?

A butterfly or fairy costume with wings is the most direct match, and a headband with antennae completes the look. Since each cake already contains three or four colors, choose the cake that repeats the shades of your costume: the blue stripes for a blue dress, or the pink and purple ones for a pink tutu. If you want a single solid color, a separate pot is a better choice, but for a gradient that complements a fur Carnival costume, this palette is the most convenient option. If you are wearing a solid-colored outfit, use a bright cake such as yellow and orange on your face for contrast.

Get the HWC Butterfly Lines face paint palette and paint a colorful butterfly on your cheek in a single stroke during Carnival.
