Gladiator Helmet

The gladiator helmet is a silver face helmet with a movable visor, a curved crest on the dome and long cheek guards along the jaws. Women and men wear it when going to carnival or a Roman party as an arena fighter. How does a gladiator helmet differ from a Roman soldier helmet?

Gladiators fought in the arena for the public, and their helmets were therefore heavier and more enclosed than those of soldiers in the army.
