Firefighter helmet red Peetje

The red Peetje firefighter helmet is a shiny red costume helmet with a transparent visor, a black front panel and a black neck flap at the back. Put it on during carnival, in the parade or at the pub when you want to cut through the party crowds as a firefighter. Both women and men wear it, so a whole group can appear in the same red helmet.

How the red helmet is put together

• The shell is shiny red, with a black panel above the visor and a black button with diamond-shaped panels on each side.
• A transparent visor protrudes above your eyes, so your face remains visible.
• At the back, there is a black neck flap that falls over your neck and the collar of your outfit.
• Under the chin, there is a black chin strap with a plastic buckle.
• On the inside, there is a translucent plastic frame that rests on your head.
• The helmet consists of 81% polypropylene, 10% polyethylene and 9% polyester.
• The brand is Boland and the helmet is intended for women and men.

Where the design of the firefighter helmet comes from

The shape of this firefighter helmet follows the modern helmets worn by firefighting crews in Europe: a round shell with a central ridge, a visor for the face and a flap that shields the neck. On real helmets, that neck flap protects against heat, sparks and firefighting water. Red is the color that almost everyone immediately associates with firefighters and red engines, and therefore the public recognizes your role before you say anything.

What else do you need besides the helmet to be recognized as a firefighter?

A dark jacket or overalls with light reflective stripes complete the silhouette under the red helmet. Black boots and work gloves give the look a tough finish, and with a rolled-up garden hose or a toy fire hose in your hand, your role in the parade is clear to everyone. Please note: you only receive the helmet, you choose the other parts yourself.

Order the red Peetje firefighter helmet and immediately be recognizable as a firefighter in the parade during carnival.
