Garland autumn leaves 200 cm

The 200 cm autumn leaves garland is a decorative garland of plastic maple leaves, strung on a thin, flexible two-metre branch. Hang it wherever you want to create an autumnal atmosphere: along a doorframe, over a mantelpiece, or in an arch above the set table. At a Halloween party or autumn drinks party, it fills the space without the need to scatter loose leaves.

How do you hang the autumn leaves garland?

• The garland is 200 cm long, enough for a doorframe or the full width of a party table.
• The leaves range from deep red and orange to warm yellow and ochre green, with dark veins and speckles on the leaves.
• The leaves are attached to a flexible branch that can be bent into an arch or wave, so it stays in place.
• The label includes a warning: the material is flammable, so keep the garland away from fire and other heat sources.
• According to the label, this is a decorative item and not a toy. Keep the packaging so you can refer to this information later.

Autumn leaves as party decorations

Autumn decorations rely on the colours seen outdoors in October and November: red, orange, yellow, and brown. A garland of maple leaves brings these colours together in one go, while loose leaves or pumpkins have to be repeatedly arranged. Because the leaves are made of plastic, they do not discolour or crumble like real leaves, and you can roll up the garland and store it for the next season after the party. At a Halloween party, the garland works as a warm base layer on top of which you can add spooky elements.

Incorporating the autumn garland into a party evening

Hang the garland before the evening begins in a spot where the light falls, for example along a mirror or above the buffet, so the leaves catch the light from the lamps. On a set table, lay it loosely in a wave across the centre and place candles or bowls between the leaves, leaving plenty of space because of the flammability. Two garlands side by side create a fuller border along a doorway, and with a few bends in the branch, you can follow the shape of a stair handrail.
