Flag line 6Mtr Bavaria

A Bavarian bunting is a garland with triangular pennants on a cord, here 6 metres long and printed with the blue-and-white Bavarian lozenge pattern. Hang it up at an Oktoberfest, beer festival or German-themed party. The garland is intended for indoor and outdoor decoration and works for both a small house party and a large hall.

Features of the Bavarian bunting

• The garland is 6 metres long, so you can span a wall, tent or garden fence in one go.
• Each pennant has a triangular shape with the diagonal lozenge pattern in bright blue and white.
• The material consists of 98% PAP with 1% polyester and 1% PVC, so the weight on the hanging cord remains light.
• At both ends is a white cord with which you can tie the line to a hook, nail or gutter.
• The pennants are at a fixed distance from each other, allowing you to hang the garland straight away.

Why is Bavaria covered in blue-and-white lozenges?

The blue-and-white lozenge pattern is the coat of arms pattern of the German state of Bavaria and appears there at almost every folk festival. During the Oktoberfest in Munich, you see it on flags, tents, tablecloths and clothing, making it the visual hallmark of beer festivals by now. This garland takes exactly that pattern and thus sets the theme in one go. If you want more fabric and size, choose the 8-metre PE giant Bavarian bunting with double-sided pennants. This 6-metre paper version is lighter and smaller in size, so it is more suitable for a room, hallway or canteen.

Combining the Bavarian bunting

Hang several lines across the ceiling, and you will get the look of a party tent. Under the garland, dress up the table with a Bavarian tablecloth and beer mugs in the same colours. For the guests, complete the theme with blue-and-white accessories, such as a Tyrolean hat with a cord, clip-on suspenders or party glasses in festive colours. This way, the pattern continues from the ceiling to the outfits.
