    Description & features

The disco flag is a 90 by 150-centimetre party flag featuring a multicoloured dance floor and three hanging circles with a dancing silhouette. Hang it behind the DJ booth or against a bare wall, and together with streamers and coloured lights, it will turn any ordinary space into a 1970s-style dance floor.

Size, print and colours of the party flag

    • The flag measures 90 by 150 centimetres, so it will cover a good portion of a wall or door.
    • The lower section features a dance floor made up of diagonal panels in pink, yellow, green, light blue and purple against a dark blue background.
    • In the centre hangs a large white circle with a grey silhouette of a dancer with an afro hairstyle, raised arm and flared trousers.
    • The word from the title is printed over the silhouette in block letters made up of small coloured squares, and two smaller circles with the same image hang to the left and right.
    • The border features a colour gradient from pink to yellow, and the flag is easy to hang.

Why does a coloured dance floor belong at a 1970s party?

A dance floor made up of illuminated panels and shiny disco balls hanging from the ceiling are the images everyone associates with 1970s discotheques. The silhouette with an afro and flared trousers refers to the fashion of that era, when dancing on the floor itself was the centre of attention. Because this flag brings all those images together in a single print, your guests will immediately recognise the theme as soon as they arrive.

How to display the party flag at a kitsch party

Hang the flag at eye level behind the area where the music is playing, so it is the first thing guests see when they enter the room. At a kitsch party at home, it also works as a backdrop for everyone to pose in glitter and flared trousers. Drape coloured lights or a pink and yellow garland around it to match the coloured panels of the dance floor. In a party venue, you can hang it at the entrance so that the theme is clear from the hallway.

Order the disco flag and you will have sorted the backdrop for your 1970s party in one go.
