Fake spider with light

The artificial spider with lights is a black decorative spider with eight long, fluffy legs and a body with LED lights that glow blue and turquoise. It is a decorative item for your Halloween decorations, not a toy, and you place it in your home or in a shop window. When spread out, the spider measures 70 x 46 x 5 cm, so it immediately fills an entire door or window corner.

Why a glowing spider works for Halloween

Spiders and webs are part of the classic spooky image of abandoned attics, basements, and haunted houses, and that is precisely why they appear every year around Halloween in hallways and shop windows. An ordinary black artificial spider disappears in the dark, while the glowing body of this model does exactly the opposite in a dimly lit room: it draws your eye. That makes it suitable for a place where visitors pass by, such as above a door frame or next to a stair railing. Because the legs hold their position as soon as you bend them, you can also make the spider crawl over a molding or a planter.

Where is the best place to hang this spider?

Choose a place at eye level or just above it, because that is when the glowing body will be noticed first. In a Halloween corner, combine it with webbing in the corners, a dark tablecloth, and a few candles, so that the light from the spider remains the only bright spot. Outside on a covered porch or in a window it also works, provided it stays dry. If you place multiple spooky creatures, keep a distance between the spider and the rest of the decorations, otherwise the legs will visually blend into the whole.
