Alphonse Gabriel Capone Was born in 1899 in Brooklyn (New York). Later he moved to Chicago. During the time of prohibition Al Capone was the absolute boss of the underworld in that city. He was involved in the illegal alcohol trade, prostitution, casinos and massively evaded taxes.
For a long time the police could not catch him because of his cunning way of working. Eventually he was arrested for tax evasion. He served his sentence in the notorious Alcatraz - prison in San Francisco .
