Bat deco with suction cups

The bat decoration with suction cups is a black PVC hanging decoration with a wingspan of 29 cm, green eyes, and an open mouth with small teeth. The wings have a fine ribbed, vein-like texture and end in sharp points. You can hang it up with the included suction cups or by the cord on its back, for example during Halloween or a spooky party at home.

Features of the bat decoration

• The wingspan is 29 cm, so it stands out without filling an entire wall.
• The material is 100% PVC, in a solid black version.
• The wings have a ribbed structure with pointed ends and the head has green eyes.
• There is a cord on the back, so you can also let it hang freely.
• With the suction cups you attach it without screwing or gluing.

Why does the bat appear every autumn as a Halloween figure?

The bat is part of the fixed imagery of Halloween, together with spiders, pumpkins and skeletons. This is due to its nocturnal life and the vampire stories in which the animal appears: everyone immediately reads a silhouette with outstretched wings as spooky. This version opts for the realistic side of that image, with texture in the wings and an open mouth, instead of a cartoonish shape. Black works best against a light wall, a window or a white door.

How to use the bat decoration at your party evening

Stick it on a clean, smooth surface, because suction cups hold better on glass or tiles than on wallpaper or wood. Hang a few at different heights by the front door, then it looks like they are flying inside. You can also hang it by the cord from a lamp or curtain rail, so that it moves slightly with every door movement. For a parade or a party hall, it works well on windows and glass doors, where everyone walks past.
