The foil balloon weight is a 6 x 6 x 12 cm weight wrapped in shiny foil with a fringed tassel at the top. You use it to keep helium balloons in place, so they don't float away but stay neatly above your table or entrance. The weight is available in light blue and rose gold, and thus suits a baby shower, a birthday, or a themed party.
What is the foil balloon weight made of?
- The weight measures 6 x 6 x 12 cm and stands upright on the table.
- The outside is made of foil, in a tightly folded pointed shape that flares out at the bottom.
- On top is a tassel made of strips of cut foil that fans out like a tuft.
- You can choose between light blue with a matte shine and rose gold with a mirrored shine.
- At the little button above the weight, you tie the balloon ribbon.
Foil balloon weight in your party decoration
A foil balloon weight is the part that makes a helium decoration usable: without a weight, loose balloons float to the ceiling and you only see the knots from below. With a weight per bunch, you determine the height of the ribbon yourself, for example just above eye level at a buffet or higher at an entrance. On a set table, one weight per seating group works better than one large bunch in the middle, because guests can continue to see each other. Place the weights on a flat surface and keep them out of a walkway, because a bumped ribbon pulls the entire bunch crooked.
Combining foil balloon weights into a complete balloon display
The shine of the foil continues beautifully with metallic balloons: the rose gold weight matches pink, white, and gold tones, the light blue with white, silver, and soft blue. If you want the weight to blend into the decoration, hide it under a paper rosette or behind a small flower arrangement and leave only the ribbon visible. Use a different ribbon length per bunch and place the weights in a straight line along the edge of the table for a calm look.
