Santa's sack

The Santa Claus bag is a cream-colored gift bag measuring 50 x 80 cm, with a drawstring and a red Santa Claus print. The print is the most eye-catching feature: a smiling Santa Claus head with a hat, a postmark with "December 25th Christmas", the text "North Pole" and a black postage stamp at the bottom with "Special Delivery". This makes the bag look like a package coming directly from the North Pole, for men and women who are handing out gifts during Christmas or at a Christmas party.

Why does Santa Claus carry his gifts in a bag?

In the well-known story, Santa Claus delivers his gifts from the North Pole in one large bag that he carries over his shoulder. That bag is just as much a part of his appearance as the red hat and white beard, and that is why everyone recognizes the image immediately. The print on this Santa Claus bag plays on this with a postmark and a postage stamp, as if the contents are a special delivery. You can use it as a prop with a Santa Claus costume, but just as well to collect and hand out the presents under the Christmas tree.

The Santa Claus bag at a Christmas party or Christmas celebration

If you enter a Christmas party dressed as Santa Claus, drape the bag over your shoulder and hold the drawstring in your hand, so that the Santa Claus print faces the audience. When handing out the gifts, set the bag down next to you, open it, and take out the gifts one by one. A red Santa Claus suit with a white beard and a bell completes the look, although these are not included with the bag. Fill the bag with the presents beforehand and pull the drawstring tight, then the contents will remain a surprise until the moment of handing them out.

Bring the Santa Claus bag into your home and hand out the presents at Christmas just like Santa Claus himself does.
