In recent years, glitter gel has become increasingly popular on the market for face painting. What kind of product is this? How should I use it and where can I use it? What is glitter gel?
The first question we often get is what glitter gel actually is. Many people initially think of gel with which you can style your hair. There is also a special gel for this, but that is not the product that is sold for make-up . This is a gel with glitter that you can put on your face or body. It feels just like normal gel but with glitter in it. If you want, you can of course also put it in your hair. You really have to style it beforehand with your own gel.
Make your own glitter gel DIY
Of course, sometimes you want to make a color or color combinations in glitter gel that are not for sale. There is a very nice solution for this. We sell a separate fixing gel . This is the basis of the glitter gel only without themake-up glitter . We also sell these glitters separately. You can then mix the gel with the glitters yourself so that your own glitter gel is created. Make your best combinations with this and show us what you have made of it. We are always in for receiving photos with creations that we can use to expand our range.
Removing the glitter gel
When the party is over you want all the glitter gel to come off your face. In most cases you can just rinse it off with water. You will see that more than 95% of your face is gone if it is not 100%. If there are still some residues left you can always use a facial cleanser to remove the last bits. Within a few minutes you will be completely back to earth. Make sure that after cleansing you apply a cream or lotion to your face to nourish your skin. This way your skin can tolerate everything well and you can be sure that you will not get any irritation the next time you want to buy or use glitter gel.
